“Ow!” Nie Chang held his nose but his painful groan was tuned out by someone’s angry clamor.
“Ew! What the hell did you just do?! How gross! Who is kissing other people’s feet?!”
Nie Chang crouched on the ground with tears in his eyes. Ah … Yes, he was asking himself the same question right now! He should have known his darling would react like this!
Su Yan was still fuming but when he saw that his boyfriend didn’t get up, he stopped scolding him. He hesitated but finally called out. “Ah … Ah Chang? You … Are you alright?” Continue reading
Su Yan beamed and puffed out his chest. “Well, that’s a matter of course!”
“Mn, it really is.” Nie Chang agreed readily and pulled his little darling closer, kissing him again. He didn’t forget to glance at the system while he was at it.
As if the system had noticed his gaze and wanted to cooperate, it collapsed the explanation of the Sweet Kiss and showed the progress of their kissing task again. It was at nine out of ten types of kisses.
Nie Chang chuckled and motioned at it. “Ah, look at that! It seems the system is just a little slow inside your novel. It finally updated the ninth type.”
“Ah?” Su Yan turned around and stared at the mirror, his eyes lighting up. “So it counted after all!” He hugged his boyfriend and gave him a kiss as thanks for telling him. “Thankfully, you took a look again or I really would have missed it and asked you to stop doing that stupid task.” Continue reading
When Leng Jin Yu left the house, he saw Qiu Ling standing among the bamboo trees, not moving at all. He couldn’t help but frown. The demon king had turned up. Why was he just standing there? Shouldn’t he have some kind of reaction?
He looked for Zhong Jing Yi to get some kind of clue what this was about only to find out that the person in question wasn’t there. Leng Jin Yu felt a sinking feeling in his heart. Don’t tell him …
He made his way over to Qiu Ling and stopped some steps away from him. “Longjun?” He didn’t get a reaction. Most likely, this was really as bad as he had thought. Leng Jin Yu gulped and stepped closer, reaching out to the person left in the bamboo grove. He lightly touched his arm and called out once again. “Longjun? Where is His Highness?”
Qiu Ling turned around, his expression lost. “He … He took him away.”
“The demon king?” Continue reading
Unfortunately for Su Yan, he was standing on his toes and had placed the mirror onto the table that didn’t even reach his knees. Looking from his boyfriend’s shoulder onto the list was almost impossible. Well, most likely it was completely impossible but he still hoped that he would somehow pull it off. With his lips still pursed, he leaned further back, holding onto his boyfriend’s shoulders so he wouldn’t lose his balance. His lips touched on Nie Chang’s earlobe.
Nie Chang couldn’t help but grin teasingly. “If you bite it, that might just count as a kiss.”
“Mn?” Su Yan wanted to say something but his lips were still pursed just in case he needed to use them again. So he only raised his brows to get his question across.
Nie Chang clearly understood what Su Yan wanted but he wouldn’t try and explain it himself. No, no, there was still the system for that dangerous task. He would only capitalize on the great sides of this experience task. Continue reading
The person in question was lying on the floor right now, looking at his newly-wedded husband with raised brows.
“Might I —”
Jinde clasped a hand over his mouth before he could say another word. He tilted his head and listened for any sounds outside. Nothing. It seemed he had already left.
Jinde closed his eyes and took a relieved sigh. He had honestly thought his heart was going to stop right now. How could that bear child turn up this unexpectedly?
Leng Jin Yu’s brows raised even further. Just what was happening here? He didn’t dare ask though. Jinde had looked quite spooked just now. He didn’t want to aggravate him further.
Jinde’s golden eyes opened and he took his hand from Leng Jin Yu’s mouth. “I’m sorry. That … That was … Ah, forget it.” Continue reading
A young man dressed in a green robe approached the gates of the Yun Zou Sect on his flying sword. Just a meter short of it, he swooshed down, kept the weapon and walked up to the two disciples guarding the entrance.
He cupped his fists with a smile. “Greetings. This one is You Xin Ru from the Liu He Alliance. I came on the orders of my Master, Alliance Head Hua, to deliver something to Grandmaster Zhangsun.” He took out a scroll and showed it to the disciples but didn’t open it.
The two disciples exchanged a glance. “For Grandmaster Zhangsun?”
You Xin Ru nodded. “Yes.” Continue reading
Su Yan swiveled around and stared at his boyfriend unblinking, clearly asking him to hurriedly perform the last two types with him so they could get the experience points and return home.
Nie Chang looked away. If he started to explain, his little darling would certainly get embarrassed and then pretend to be angry to cover it up. If he didn’t explain and just kissed him, then … there wouldn’t be any need to cover something up. Su Yan would be angry without question if he did that again. So for now … he could only pretend he didn’t see him looking and come up with something else. Continue reading
Just like back in the night before Jing He descended for his trial, the two lovers weren’t on the same page at all.
Jing Yi separated from Qiu Ling and his heels touched the ground again but he didn’t look away. Right now, he felt happy. Way happier than he had felt in the last couple of years when they had been separated whether it was by space or by his own doing.
Realizing that Qiu Ling had indeed to be Tian made this so much easier but right now he felt that even if he wasn’t, even if there was still another person waiting for him somewhere, he should stay with him nonetheless. Because Qiu Ling was the man he had fallen in love with and whatever had happened in a past life couldn’t change that. His feelings from this life wouldn’t just disappear and the man he had loved in his past life wouldn’t be anything more than a stranger. So regardless of who Tian was, Qiu Ling was the one he wanted to stay with. Continue reading
Author’s Note: Apparently, I can’t count so I scheduled two chapters on Patreon instead of one. Since its online anyway … just have the second one here too 😉
Yun Bei Fen forced himself to calm down and listen to Sect Master Zhang when he got the confirmation of his Master. He had to make sure he understood everything clearly. He definitely couldn’t leave senior martial brother Mei with a bad impression!
The mission turned out to be quite simple to understand anyway. Basically, they would just travel to the border region and set up camp there. After that, it would be their responsibility to patrol the area daily and eliminate every heretic practitioner they happened upon. If they managed to extract information regarding the demonic sects’ plans from them, it would be even better. Continue reading
Nie Chang raised his brows? “Experience tasks?”
“Yes, yes! Don’t you remember? When I leveled up earlier, the system said I would get some experience statistics so everything we do together will give me experience points! Ah, how could I forget about this?!” Su Yan who had almost been crying right now started laughing.
Getting back home would be so easy! There had been a lot of things they hadn’t experienced yet. They would just need to go through the list and then he would reach the next level and they could go home. And the system had even promised that he would get more experience points the more important the milestone was for their relationship so there should be some that would get him a lot of experience. Maybe doing two or three of those would be enough to advance. Continue reading
