Su Yan didn’t dare to have the program count the number of words again and just began to type the last scene.
[It had been three months since Yun Bei Fen and Mei Chao Bing became friends on their mission. By now, Yun Bei Fen’s injury had completely healed. The mission had also finished and they had returned home to the sect.
Right now, they were sitting at the edge of a small grove not far from where Yun Bei Fen lived, looking over the crystal clear lake in front of them. It really showed how much his Master loved Yun Bei Fen that he was able to live there. The other disciples could only look on in envy.
Mei Chao Bing turned to face Yun Bei Fen and his friend looked up and smiled naturally in response. He felt completely at ease with him. The trust that had formed between them couldn’t be described in words. It could only be felt in the heart.
“Fen’er …” Mei Chao Bing leaned over a bit and reached out, gently combing Yun Bei Fen’s hair back. He had adopted that manner of addressing him from his Master and Yun Bei Fen seemed to like it.
Indeed, hearing him call him like that Yun Bei Fen gave another smile. It really made him feel like being family.
Mei Chao Bing didn’t think of him as family, though. He sidled even closer and hugged Yun Bei Fen to his chest. Since his friend didn’t protest he cupped his cheek, bent down and pressed his lips to Yun Bei Fen’s. He closed his eyes with a satisfied sigh while Yun Bei Fen froze.
He couldn’t understand what was going on. Mei Chao Bing’s grip on him tightened and he deepened the kiss as if he wanted to merge with him.
Yun Bei Fen pressed against his chest and opened his mouth to protest but —]
Su Yan’s hands stopped moving and he lightly banged his head against the table. “Ugh! I can’t write this!”
Next door, Nie Chang leaped to his feet and hurried over. He pulled Su Yan up and frowned at him. “Are you an idiot? You just came back from the hospital because of a concussion! Be more careful!”
Su Yan looked up and pursed his lips. “Ah Chang!” He extended his arms and waited.
Nie Chang looked at him and gritted his teeth. He couldn’t give in. This dunce deserved to be scolded! Then again … Hugging him meant loving him, right? He couldn’t not hug him. Nie Chang cursed his own weakness inwardly, stepped forward and hugged Su Yan back who sidled up against his chest immediately. “So, what’s the problem?”
“I can’t write!”
“It didn’t sound like that when I was in the living room. You were typing the whole time.” Well, minus the few minutes when he took a break to mumble about.
“But I can’t write the ending!” Su Yan nestled up against his boyfriend even closer. He felt really, really embarrassed. Who could have known that writing romance was so hard? It always looked so easy when you read it in the novels!
Nie Chang looked at the notebook and read the last few sentences. His lips curled up immediately and he comfortingly rubbed Su Yan’s back. “So what’s the problem with that? You can’t think of what will happen after that?”
Su Yan pouted. “No, it’s obvious. He’ll get angry and leave.”
“That’s not romantic at all.” Nie Chang’s hand found its way to the nape of his neck and stroked up and down. “How about I show you what I’d do?” There was an obvious smile in his voice that made Su Yan’s hair stand on end.
“What … What do you mean by that?”
“Well … If that was me kissing you …”
He bent down and pressed his lips onto Su Yan’s just like Mei Chao Bing had done with Yun Bei Fen. And just like Yun Bei Fen Su Yan pressed against his chest and opened his mouth in protest.
Nie Chang nearly laughed out loud but then he would have needed to let go of this prime opportunity to take advantage of his boyfriend’s plight. Thus, he held back and instead snuck his tongue into Su Yan’s mouth.
Su Yan made a sound that was probably meant as a protest but right after that his arms curled around Nie Chang’s neck and his fingers grabbed onto his hair. Nie Chang suddenly wasn’t sure anymore if this had been such a good idea. How was he supposed to hold back at that reaction?! His hand stroked up and down on Su Yan’s back while he cursed the fact that he couldn’t just strip him.
In the end, Nie Chang was the one to break away and give an uneasy smile. “Well, if this was in the story, I’d definitely topple you to the ground after that and have my way with you but … unfortunately, this is real life and I promised I wouldn’t do it so … Have fun writing.” Then, he turned around and fled, feeling like an idiot.
Su Yan looked at his boyfriend’s back and pressed his lips together to keep himself from laughing. Ah, being in a relationship was surprisingly fun! He suddenly understood why Nie Chang loved to tease him so much! With a happy grin on his face, he turned back to his notebook and continued where he left off.
[Yun Bei Fen pressed against his chest and opened his mouth to protest but that just allowed Mei Chao Bing to push his tongue into his mouth. Before Yun Bei Fen knew what was happening his friend had already shoved him to the ground and pinned his whole body beneath him.
For a while, he didn’t know how to react and just let Mei Chao Bing continue. But then his thoughts caught up with him again. This was wrong! They were friends. They shouldn’t be doing things like this!
He shoved Mei Chao Bing off, leaped to his feet and ran back to his house, banging the door shut behind him. He had heard Mei Chao Bing following him but he couldn’t face him now. He felt used and betrayed. Thus, for the first time in his life, Yun Bei Fen actually grew angry at someone.
Mei Chao Bing who was still waiting in front of the door didn’t know what to do. Had he really done something unforgivable?]
